Discover Scotland is a free B2B virtual travel trade event that was held earlier this month. To further promote Scotland’s distinct places, five regional showcases will be held in spring and autumn, providing buyers with networking opportunities and familiarisation trips. A small group of international tour operators have been invited to take part in these events and to experience Scotland first-hand. The Discover Scotland event seeks to showcase the country’s unique attractions and destinations, and to build better relationships between suppliers and buyers. Buyers will have the opportunity to explore the country’s culture, landscapes, and attractions, as well as to gain a greater understanding of its different regions.
