Pitmedden Garden

Pitmedden Gardens in Aberdeen, Scotland is a stunningly beautiful example of a formal garden. Located in the Aberdeenshire countryside, it is a site of tremendous historical significance. The gardens were originally laid out in the 17th century by the 1st Earl of Aberdeen and have been restored to their original design by the National Trust for Scotland. The gardens are made up of a series of terraces, each one providing a unique experience. The terraces feature a variety of different garden styles, including formal parterres, a walled garden, a productive kitchen garden and an extensive woodland area. The gardens are also home to a wide variety of plants and trees, including many rare and unusual species.
