Deacon’s Brodie Tavern is a historic pub on The Royal Mile which serves cask ales and classic British dishes. Named after Brodie, a well respected Deacon of the city in the 1700s who lead a double life by night: gambling, drinking and committing burglaries which saw him hanged in 1788
