Cramond Island causeway

The concrete pyramids sometimes called dragons teeth were erected alongside the causeway during the Second World War to prevent enemy boats coming through the gap between Cramond and Cramond Island. It is important to keep an eye on the tide times as it is possible to get stranded on the island.
