East Lomond (Falkland Hill) is one of the highest points in Fife with undisturbed views across the Firth of Forth, The town of Falkland and to the southern Highlands. The hill is the remains of an exctinct volcano formed over 400 million years ago and the summit was once the site of a Pictish Hill Fort.
