The old Stockbridge Market was active from 1823 to 1906. The entrance archway was built by Archibald Scott in 1825. Today, Stockbridge Market has been running every Sunday from 10am-5pm since 2011. The market sells food, fruits and vegetables and arts and crafts. Its sister markets are located in Leith and The Grassmarket in Edinburgh
