voco Grand Central Glasgow, Wednesday 6 October, 12.30 – 16.00 - The event was the first in-person tourism industry event delivered by the Glasgow Tourism and Visitor Plan (GTVP) partners since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event hosted tourism and events businesses from across the Glasgow City Region and covered the themes of tourism recovery and responsible tourism. The event capitalises on the spotlight of COP26 beginning at the end of October and is designed to help create a more responsible destination by supporting businesses in making achievable, practical steps on sustainability. It formed part of the ongoing business engagement programme provided by GTVP partners.
