The Castle and Gardens of Mey

The Castle of Mey was built by George, the 4th Earl of Caithness, in 1573. HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother purchased the castle in 1952. The castle and garden tour is complimented by an animal centre, gift shop and tearoom.
