Cinco Stars!

AN Edinburgh-based tour operator which was the first to provide guided Spanish tours around Scotland is celebrating after achieving a prestigious Quality Assurance award from VisitScotland.

Viajar por Escocia which operates scheduled tours across the country from its base near to the Royal Mile has secured a five-star rating from the national tourism organisation. The grading highlights businesses within the VisitScotland Quality Assurance Scheme who provide exceptional customer service, providing the best possible visitor experience.

We consider that the high level content of our tours, the professionalism of our guides and our friendly treatment with travellers have allowed us to achieve this high quality level in the service.”

VisitScotland Industry Relationship Manager, Alasdair Maclauchlan said: “Viajar por Escocia is a fantastic example of the quality experience on offer to Spanish-speaking visitors to Edinburgh and the surrounding area. I would like to extend my congratulations to the team on this achievement.

“Our Quality Assurance scheme helps businesses to reach their full potential and truly shine. The scheme is about more than just the ‘stars’ on the door - it’s about the entire visitor experience, and Vicente and Jaime have shown that they go the extra mile to ensure their visitors enjoy a truly memorable experience.”

The VisitScotland Quality Assurance scheme, which has been developed and improved over 30 years, provides visitors with an independent, impartial and trusted guide to standards.
